Challenges

Originally a custom-built non-SaaS website that was expensive, over budget to maintain, and not well supported by the previous provider.
Dictated by an upcoming auto-renewal, there was a compressed seven-week timeline to migrate onto BigCommerce and bring all of the customer, product, and order history (typically a separate component) needed at the same time.
Needed to launch a new B2C website by Christmas Eve.
Needed to be within budget and on-time.

Solution

Results

Friends of Commerce successfully migrated FirstSpear’s website and all of their data and launched the site on December 24 without any significant issues. The project was a massive success on BigCommerce. It was on time, on scope, and on budget.
